Terms of use for Bullpen

Who we are. Bullpen is made by Autough Ltd, 79 Beach Grove Rd, Charlottetown, PE C1E 1J4, Canada. Write to us at business@autough.com.
Who can use it. You must be 18 or older and use Bullpen for a business. One account per person. Bullpen isn't offered to recruiting, staffing or immigration firms; we close such accounts and refund anything paid.
What Bullpen does. It finds businesses that may fit what you sell, reads what they publish on their own websites, and drafts emails, lists and briefs for you. It can be wrong: check what it says before you rely on it. Every source it used is linked so you can.
You send the emails. Bullpen on app.autough.com sends nothing. When you send an email it drafted, you are the sender, and you're responsible for following the anti-spam laws that apply to you (in Canada, CASL; in the US, CAN-SPAM): a true name and mailing address in every email, a way to opt out, and stopping when someone asks. Bullpen drafts only to addresses businesses publish on their own sites and puts an opt-out line in every draft to help, but it can't make that choice for you.
Don't use Bullpen to send bulk or misleading email, to research people as private individuals, to harass anyone, to break the law, or to get around its limits (one person signing up many times for free research, for example). We may switch off an account that does, and tell you why.
Credits and plans. Bullpen charges credits for finished work, at the numbers on the pricing page for the version you signed up on. A free account gets 9 credits once. A plan's credits arrive each month and roll over one month. Top-up credits cost 30% more than plan credits and last 12 months. Credits have no cash value. We give the credits back when a fact in a checked email doesn't match its source. Plans are paid through Stripe, monthly or yearly. Cancel any time by writing to us: we stop the next payment, and you keep your plan to the end of the period you paid for. A yearly plan can be refunded within 14 days, less the credits used at the plan rate. We don't refund part months. We tell you in Bullpen at least 30 days before a price change affects you.
Your data is yours. You can download your lists and drafts, and delete your account, at any time. See the Privacy page for what we keep and where.
No guarantee. We work to keep Bullpen running and correct, but it's provided as it is, and we can't promise any result from your outreach. If something we did goes wrong, the most we owe you is what you paid us in the 12 months before.
Changes. We may change Bullpen, the free amount, the prices or these terms. We'll put the date of any change at the top of this page, and tell you in Bullpen before a price change affects you.
Law. These terms are governed by the laws of Prince Edward Island and of Canada.
